This research was conducted using a Research and Development approach. This study aims to 1) analyze the need for scientific writing guidelines, 2) design guidelines for scientific papers based on android, 3) determine the level of validation and practicality of android-based scientific writing guidelines. This research was developed using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). This research was conducted at the Educational Technology Study Program, Faculty of Education, Makassar State University. The subjects of this study were 2 validators consisting of instructional media experts and instructional media material experts, 15 Education Technology students, and 1 lecturer. Data collection methods used interview guidelines, needs identification questionnaires, validation questionnaires, and trial questionnaires. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative and descriptive statistics. The results showed that the level of need for scientific writing guidelines was at the level needed, this study produced guidelines for scientific writing based on android, product feasibility based on material expert validation with good results, media validation with good results, individual trial results with good categories, small group trials are also in the good category, and the teacher's response with the results is in the good category.
