DIGITAL LITERACY THROUGH USING GOOGLE PLAY BOOK MEDIA ON EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION STUDENTS

Abstract


The objectives of this research were: (1) to find out the students 'digital literacy skills, (2) the students' skills in using google play books. The research method used a survey. The research subjects were 52 students who program the subject of Early Childhood in Family Education at Teacher Training and Education Faculty Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Research findings: (1) digital literacy skills on criteria Good in the aspects of self-confidence and responsibility as well as communicative; on Adequate criteria in the aspects of social culture, digital literacy knowledge, constructive, creative, critical, and collaboration; (2) the use of google play books media on the criteria Good in the aspects of data archiving skills, indexation, downloading, copying, printing, and online book purchase payments. Conclusion: (1) students' digital literacy skills are adequate, (2) skills in using google play books application media are good.
