Annual World Conference on Social and Humanities Research (W-SHARE)
The 2nd World Conference on Social and Humanities Research (W-SHARE) will be conducted on October 20-21, 2022, in Makassar, Indonesia*. W-SHARE, the leading forum for the presentation of proposed research and research results, is organized by Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM).
Universitas Negeri Makassar has been concerning on the pre-service teacher’s education. UNM has the capacity to promote “Building Resilienceâ€, its is the ability to cope and prosper in the face of unfavorable events, obstacles, or adversity. Social competence, responsibility, optimism, hope for the future, attachment to family, self-efficacy, and favorable respect are all important characteristics of resilience in school-aged children and adolescents.
UNM as one of the leading educational universities in Indonesia can collaborate with schools to enhance resilience through programs which build positive social norms and generate a sense of connectedness to teachers, peers, and the academic goals of the school. The cooperation should provide a program that focuses on improving personal and social capabilities, such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and social management, using an evidence-based approach.

Era digital membawa perubahan yang begitu cepat dalam kehidupan manusia. Perkembangan yang pesat ini tidak lepas dari arus globalisasi yang terjadi. Hal itu, tentunya membawa dan mendorong dampak besar bagi kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan adanya kecanggihan teknologi yang terus berkembang hingga saat ini, tentunya akan memudahkan pengguna dalam berinteraksi dan mencari informasi dengan jangkauan yang luas atau jarak jauh. Para pengguna diharapkan mampu memanfaatkan dan menggunakan teknologi dengan baik, yang tentunya juga didukung oleh kemampuan literasi digital yang baik pula.
Kehadiran media digital di masa ini telah memudahkan masyarakat mendapatkan berbagai informasi dengan cepat dari berbagai penjuru dunia. Tak hanya memberikan informasi dengan cepat, media digital dalam perkembangannya memberikan banyak manfaat seperti mempermudah interaksi antar masyarakat (berkomunikasi), dan menjalankan usaha. Namun, di balik semua itu, cepatnya informasi yang tersebar dan diterima masyarakat tanpa dipilih terlebih dahulu bisa berpotensi tersebarnya hoaks. International Seminar on Education (ISOE) 2020 is a scientific forum to discuss the development and research on educations particularly "Kampus Merdeka (Independent Campus) policy" issued by The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
This seminar are held by HMPS PGSD FIP UNM Kampus VI Watampone
in collaboration with South East Asia Academic Mobility (SEAAM), as well as lectures from various faculties of Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM).
This international seminar aims to produce critics and solutions to the Kampus Merdeka policy. Therefore, it takes an active role from various parties both from within and outside the country in order to contribute ideas so that education in Indonesia can still be what has always been expected, namely in order to educate the nation's life, not for competition or commodities.
